👤 1. Creating Your Account

Creating a Sovatalk account is free and takes under a minute. You need an account to send tips, chat, and request private sessions. Watching public streams is always free — no account required.

The Sovatalk homepage — click Sign Up in the top-right corner to get started.

Register with Email

Go to sovatalk.com and click Sign Up in the top-right corner.
Select the Seeker tab on the registration page.
Enter your email address and choose a password, then click Create Account.
Check your inbox for a verification email. Click the confirmation link inside.
Check your spam folder if you don’t see it within a few minutes.
Once verified, sign in and start exploring.

Register with Google (SSO)

Prefer not to use a password? Sign up in one click using your Google account:

On the registration page, click Continue with Google.
Choose your Google account from the popup — no password needed.
Your account is created and you’re signed in immediately. No email verification required.
Your privacy: Your real name and email are never shown to experts or other viewers. You choose a display name that can be anything you like.

🔍 2. Finding & Watching Experts

The Sovatalk homepage shows all currently live experts. Watching is always free for public streams — no tokens or account required.

Who’s Live Right Now

Go to sovatalk.com. Experts currently streaming appear in the Live Now section.
Click any live expert’s card to enter their broadcast room.
The video starts immediately. The live chat is on the right side of the screen.

Experts go live at different times. If no one is live right now, scroll down to see all experts. You can visit an offline expert’s page to leave them a message and ask them to come online.

💬 3. Chat & Live Interaction

Every broadcast room has a live chat visible to all viewers. You can send messages to the expert and other viewers in real time. An account is required to chat.

Messaging an Offline Expert

If an expert is offline, their page shows a message form. You can send them a private message — for example, asking them to come online for a session. They will see your message when they next log in.

💰 4. Sending a Tip

Tips are a direct way to support an expert while they’re live. 100% of your tip goes to the expert immediately. Tips require a token balance.

In the broadcast room, click the Send a Tip button at the bottom of the screen.
Choose a quick amount (25, 50, 100, 250, 500 tokens) or enter a custom amount.
Optionally add a short message for the expert to read.
Click Tip [amount] tokens to confirm. The tokens are sent instantly.

Token value: 100 tokens = $1 USD. So a 100-token tip costs $1 and goes directly to the expert.

🤝 5. Private 1-on-1 Sessions

A private session gives you dedicated, one-on-one time with an expert via video. The main broadcast pauses and you enter a private room together. Sessions are billed per minute at the expert’s set rate.

Requesting a Session

While the expert is live, click Request Private Session at the bottom of their broadcast room.
You need a sufficient token balance to start. The required amount depends on the expert’s per-minute rate.
The expert receives a notification and can Accept or Decline your request.
If accepted, you both enter a private video room. The expert’s public stream pauses.
Tokens are deducted per minute at the expert’s configured rate from your balance.
Either party can end the session at any time. Billing stops the moment the session ends.
Expert is offline? You can’t start a private session with an offline expert. Send them a message on their profile page asking them to come online, and they’ll see your message when they log in.

Keep enough tokens: If your token balance runs out during a session, the session ends automatically. Top up before starting long sessions.

💳 6. Buying Tokens

Tokens are Sovatalk’s currency for tips and private sessions. 100 tokens = $1 USD. Tokens are purchased via Bitcoin or Lightning Network — no credit cards or bank accounts needed.

How to Buy

Go to Wallet in the top navigation bar (or click your avatar).
Click the package you want to purchase.
A Bitcoin / Lightning invoice is generated. Pay it using your Bitcoin wallet app.
Tokens are added to your balance instantly once payment is confirmed.

Lightning Network payments are recommended — they confirm in seconds and have near-zero fees. Look for the “Lightning” option when scanning the invoice.

🛡️ 7. Privacy & Safety

Your privacy and safety are a priority on Sovatalk. Here is what you should know:

What Sovatalk Does NOT Do

Topic Policy
Recording sessions No sessions (public or private) are recorded or stored by Sovatalk.
Your real name Never shown to experts or other viewers. Your display name is all that’s visible.
Your email Never shared with experts. Used only for account verification and support.
Monitoring conversations Private session conversations are not monitored or reviewed.
Selling your data Sovatalk does not sell personal data to third parties.

Staying Safe

Never share personal information (address, phone number, financial details) in chat or sessions.
Use a display name that doesn’t reveal your real identity.
If an expert makes you feel uncomfortable, end the session immediately — you are charged only for time used.
Report any issues to our support team via Telegram or email (details in Section 8).
Crisis support: Sovatalk is not an emergency service. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please call or text 988 (US) or your local emergency number.
