Overview

SovaTalk (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use SovaTalk, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. SovaTalk is a live video platform — we are not a healthcare provider, and we do not collect medical or clinical data.

What we collect

Account information

If you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. Experts additionally provide a short bio and any credentials they choose to share on their profile. You are not required to use your real name.

Usage data

We collect standard server logs including pages visited, time of access, browser type, and IP address. This data is used to operate and improve the service.

Session metadata

We store metadata about sessions you participate in (such as duration and whether a session occurred) to maintain your account history. We do not record the content of video sessions.

Chat messages

Public room chat messages may be stored temporarily to support the live experience. We do not permanently archive chat content for general users.

How we use your information

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, though doing so will prevent you from staying logged in.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

We may share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting and video infrastructure providers), under confidentiality agreements. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of users or third parties.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights including:

Children

SovaTalk is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately at support@sovatalk.com.
