Oops, I think there might be a typo in that question-what advice are you looking for? Trying to figure out how to deal with feeling empty?
I feel ya-I mean, it's tough dealing with that void without falling back into old habits, right? How do people manage to keep going when everything feels so empty inside?
I just wanted to say if you're just starting out and feeling empty, it's pretty normal. Your whole life is changing bit by bit. I think it's better not to fill that emptiness with things like sports or eating or finding love right away. Maybe take some time to observe what's actually going on inside you and how those changes feel.Just go at your own pace, no rush.
I'm a bit confused. Could you explain what kind of emptiness you're referring to? I know people can feel emotionally empty, sometimes even without substance abuse
sorry i rlly feel empty like no one lves me or wants me feels like im no ones fav person idk if thats wierd but yknow irl
I totally relate to how empty it feels. After two months, then a year, and then four more months without my addiction, I never really got rid of that hollow feeling unfortunately. It's so tough to put into words, but I definitely get where youu're coming from. It's kind of like FOMO, but not exactly the same.
I'm looking ahead to another long period away from what I crave, and for me, the scariest part is dealing with that emptiness again. There just doesn't seem to be anything taht can fill that void...
