ADHD isn't just about being distracted-it's complex
So, ADHD is a real doozy when it comes to managing the basics of life. You know, stuff like keeping track of time, not letting emotions get the better of you, staying organized (oh how I struggle with that), getting started on-or finishing-tasks, adn holding onto info long enough to use it.
Knowing these hurdles exists can really help cut down on beating yourself up and instead focus on finding ways to cope. So, what's something you think more folks should know about dealing with ADHD?

Anyway, I just wish folks would get that it's totally real-like, it's not some made-up story or anything. I mean, it's really not drama for the sake of it; I'm just trying to convey how serious this is, you know?
I fully agree with you. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a genunie condition, not a choice or an attempt to gain attention. Thanks for sharing your thoughts; it's cruial to continue raising awareness and emphasizing the importance of understanding rather than judging individuals' experiences.
Never knew I had ADHD until a lady in prison said I might have it. My 4-year-old daughter has it bad too. Learning about it through her. Back then, I set goals and stuck to them, even with 9 kids running around all the time
Hello everyone,
I wasn't awrae that I had ADHD until someone mentioned it to me in prison. My daughter is four now, and she recently got evaluated for the same condition. She has a severe case of it, but through her diagnosis, I'm starting to understand my own experiences better. When I was younger,I used to write down my goals and achieve them. Even though I manage nine kids and am always busy, there's never any time left to think about these things.
