Patterns of connection and disconnection sadness

I've noticed that as I get older, I seem to see more patterns and understand things better from my observations. It's not just from reading online but from actually questioning what I observe and connecting it all together. Sometimes it feels overwhelming for my brain because the realization of how selfish people can be and how different societies function is really tough to handle. I feel a bit down when I see how much privilege we have in the Western world while others are struggling just to survive. Most of the patterns I notice tedn to be negative, which makes me quite sad. The more I understand these things, the sadder it gets sometimes, and I wish I didn't know so much. It's making life feel a bit hopeless at times, and I'm not sure how to stop feeling this way or focus on happier aspects of living despite everything.

I hope things get better for you. It sounds like it's been tough.
Maybe sometimes when we're feeling down, we need to thnk about what's really important to us and who we want to be as people.What our values are and how we can live a life that feels meaningful
