Anxiety, depression, and mental fog - seeking support

Hey everyone, so here's the thing-this past couple of years have been pretty rough for me on both the anxiety and depression front. It used to be such a happy-go-lucky time in my life, but then everything kinda flipped upside down out of nowhere.

Anyway, I started taking antidepressants about a year ago, which honestly helped a lot at first. My confiednce was through the roof, my health was better, and I even got into this great relationship-I thought things were looking up again for real. But as time went on, I noticed myself feeling sluggish and just not as lively as before.

So, after discussing with someone, we figured it'd be best to slowly get off the medication. Thing is, since then, everything seems to have gone downhill fast. Talking to people now gives me this huge anxiety rush, and I can't seem to find the rigth words half the time. I'ts like my brain goes on pause when it comes to social interactions-my heart starts racing, and suddenly, I'm stuck in this feeze mode where I don't know waht to do next.

I spend so much time overthinking everything now-it's insane how long it takes me to solve a simple math problem; twenty minutes or more for something that used to be a breeze. It's frustrating because I know the answer, but getting there feels like solving a puzzle with missing pieces. Not to mention my memory has just gone out the window-I read somethhing and bam!-it's gone before I even turn the page.

Sometimes, reading a snigle pge takes me an hour, and at the end of it all, nothing sticks in my head. It's like my brain has these moments where it just shuts off completely no matter how hard I try to focus or grasp information. Honestly, I'm feeling pretty lost right now and could really use some advice on what steps I can take next.

If you've had similar experiences or have any suggestions, please let me know-I'm more than open to hearing from people who might be in the same boat.

Hey,
Me too. See a therapist. Might have ADHD or something.

Struggled for decades, didn't know why until recently.
Hope you find out soon.
Bless

This is me too. I forget everything. Takes forever to read stuff and still don't get it, even after reading it a million times.
