Feelings on sertraline?
Hey there, just wanted to drop a quick message since I've been on 50 milligrams of sertraline for about five weeks now. But my doctor upped it to 100 mg three days ago because things were getting pretty rough with the anxiety again. This afternoon, though, everything felt off-there was this odd whistling in my ears and my feet got super hot. Anyone else ever experience something like that? Just curious if others have had similar reactions after their dosse changed.

50 to 100 mg is too much for me. Increased from 50 to 75 mg felt like hell. Now upping by 10 mg a wek works way better. Even with the bad symptoms, I eventually felt great once adjusted. Sertraline really helped me.
So, how long does it usually take for something to kick in when you're trying new meds, anyway? I've been on Sertaline for about eight weeks now-started off with 25 milligrams for four days and then bumpped up to 50 milligrams for three and a half weeks. Now I'm at 75 milligrams for the last month or so. I had one really good day, you know, where everything felt okay without all that hellish stuff going on in my head. So how long should I wait before figuring out if this higher dose is actually helping me out?
I got my results after about 8 days, which I think is pretty quick. With each doose increase, it might take a month or two to see any changes, and some people don't feel much of a difference until they bump up the dosage. So maybe you should wait around 3 to 6 weeks on your current dose before trying anything else.
Yep, totally the same here - I'm on Citalopram too, another SSRI. My hot feet eventually chilled out, thank goodness, and the ringing in my ears is less severe now, thogh it still pops up sometimes
I've got everything you mentioned-week 5 with the 50mg dosage, and honestly,it's a nightmare for me. Can't sleep at all, and anxiety is through the roof. Plus, there's this crazy tremor and depression going on. It's so bad that I can barely leave my place because of these symptoms. And to be real,I'm not sure where to turn next...
at first i felt nada but once it kicked in, idk, so bad like anxiety, disoriented, depressed, hopeless, suffering. ngl, i kept taking it and surprisingly all those feelings vanished and i felt great. longest i suffered was abt 2 wks then another 4 to recover but the results were amazing fr.
I'm still on 50 mg for my medication, and it's now the start of week five. I've been in bed for three days because I hvae no energy at all. The depression feels really heavy, and I'm having trouble catching my breath-it's kind of scary, like I might be dying or something.
