Lorazepam and olanzapine comparison thread

My hubby was sneaking around with his olanzapine, skipping days here and there. It led to a pretty rough psychotic episode. When we called his doc's PA-they were trying this new regimen of tweaking meds but nothing seemed to stick. They had him on depakote originally, then went back to that and upped the olanzapine from 2.5mg to 5mg last Thursday when things weren't improving.

Now he's a bit off today again, but I'm not sure how bad it is. He looks a little better now, which is good since there's no doc around this weekend. Should I go with 2.5mg tonight and see how he does or just stick to the full dose of 5mg? It feels like he needs something stable in his system.

I'm totally stressed out by all of this, especially with my Parkinson's flaring up too. Any advice would be a huge help!
