Maybe caffeine-free zone?
I've been feeling really down for about five days now, and my mood seems way worse than bfeore. My anxiety isn't any better either. Sometimes my sleep gets a bit better-but it's not always consistent-and maybe that's because I don't usually have much caffeine, but when I do, I drink it far too late at night. Plus, I'm kind of hooked on lozepam and end up taking it during the day, which isn't super helpful most of the time. Isn't avoiding caffeine supposed to lower anxiety and help you feel less stressed? Why am I not seeing a difference?

I mean, I've never bought into that whole "caffeine is evil" thing. I just sip on my coffee and tea whenever the mood strikes me, no worries. Some people might have issues with it, but honestly, it's been pretty chill for me. So if you're avoiding caffeine because of those claims, go ahead and kickstart your coffee-and-tea journey again-I promise you won't regret it. Just relax and enjoy that cup of joe without any guilt trips.
Quit caffeine and nicotine this summer. Weaned off coffee to decaf in July, quit vaping in August. End of September now. Sleep better, still anxious but not as bad. Taking mirtazapine 15mg at night, buspar 5mg daily. Should call doc about meds but too depressed. Had a cup of coffee as an experiment and got really anxious with hand tremors. Learned I naturally get wired easily, caffeine affects me badly. Staying calm is top priority.
Also cut out scary or violent content. Started watching feel-good stuff, no more bad dreams. Read it takes months for brain to adjust after quitting. Hope that helps.
