When you hit a wall as a writer and can't come up with catchy hooks...
You run out of words and suddenly find them in books.
A long struggle with denial,
but still wanting to keep pushing on,
Even when something's following you, you don't notice-
except for those brief moments of someone's laughter...
You make writing your whole life, thinking it'll lead to success.
Now;
Knowing your choices scare you because you think you fit in nowhere,
yet deep down, aren't you the one who knows everything?
Trying just to breathe, waiting for some light,
a lonely soul,
afraid you'll lose it if you don't keep moving.
You hear all sorts of things, knowing truth is always straight up front.
But the selfless part of you feels sidelined by its own killing presence.
Waitign to sit and read people's faces,
wanting to sahre your thoughts as soon as possible over packets of food,
chasing after writing paragraphs while calling once a week-
even if it's not happening, that's still what you're reaching for.
Loving someone so much they're like oxygen,
knowing them to be diamonds and the bond between you carbon strong.
These things are safe from contamination, preserved beyond demolition.Currently, you know money might turn dark hues-if you put it in the wrong pot
but is this situation greater than your biggest fear?
The fears that God sent,
or will there finally come something puttig an end to all of it?
Some lines here hold meanings and some are juts incidents.
When I wrote them, I wanted no one at home to read it so deliberately made it cryptic. So I could write the stories.

Yeah, sometimes a poem is the only thing that can put into words what's stuck in our heads. Thanks for sharing-it means a lot.
