Sertraline 105 Mg First Weeks Anxiety

I am going through a period of depression and anxiety. I have been on 50mg of sertraline for over a year, then switched to 100mg for three weeks, and now I've been at 150mg for 13 days. Currently, I'm experiencing emotional flatness, anxiety-related chest pain, and occasional disconnection.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through similar adjustments with their medication-how long did it take for you to stabilize? Did increasing the dosage eventually help improve your symptoms?

Perhaps your doctor could explore oter options? Zoloft is considered a milder SSRI, while Paxil or Celexa might be more effective. Remember that 40 milligrams of Zoloft is the maximum dosage. It took me around five years and trying various antidepressants before my general practitioner suggested I try Paxil. While it didn't cure all my symptoms, I did feel as though a dark cloud had lifted. Everyone's response to medication varies, so what works for many people might not work for you. Just something to keep in mind.
