Sertraline Withdrawals-ocd Struggles For Me

Hey, so recently, I had to stop taking Sertraline because the stomach and chest pains were just too intense. Now my OCD is totally out of control-my head feels like it's not even mine anymore. Constant sexual and harmful thoughts are just overwhelming all day long. Honestly, I'm at a los here and really need some help or advice-I don't know what else to do for me right now.

Cut down on sertraline really slowly-I did it 10mg a month and after a year, I was done with it completely. It seriously helps prevent those negative reactions and side effects. Going cold turkey or too fast can mess you up big time!

Honestly, if you find that you need medication to keep OCD or intrusive thoughts at bay, go for it. For me personally, I've realized I need meds for my depression for the rest of my life. That's what works for me.

Hey everyone, just wanted to drop by and say that my life has been super chill ever since I started taking Sertraline. Before that, I had some OCD-like stuff going on-although it wasn't really the main thing bugging me-I would get stuck in thought loops a lot more than usual.

Anyway, one thing I've learned is to always stay on top of your doctr and pharmacist for either a steady supply of medication or valid prescriptions. Or you know, they can also give you instructions on how to safely taper off if that's what you're thinking about doing. Just keeping things organized helps a lot, i mean really.
