Sister's temper is freaking me out

Oh boy, my sister is giving me major anxiety. She's got dad's temper for sure, so I'm just hiding out here trying to help but getting shouted down left and right. It's like every little thing sends her over the edge, and honestly, I feel totally lost because of it. This morning was particularly bad-she spilled milk all over herself screaming about how she doesn't talk to people in the morning and demanding wipes. Meanwhile, she's still upset we missed out on that concert because dad misplaced the tickets. It's like no matter what I do, I can't seem to make things better

her temper is really intense, like a mad dog-i think its best to gve her space and let her cool off on her own. i'm just going the othr way right now-what temper... i won't carry her baggage, but maybe she can manage herself better... maybe she's just acting out like a child, you know? i heard someone say she might be around 8 years old or something-still, she's not going to get what she wants with a tantrum.

I think this gave me a different viewpoint, maybe thanks to you.

I'm gonna echo what everyone else is saying-there are so many caring souls around who can explain things way better than I ever could. Honestly, they all get it, and they're not being all patronizing either. There's just a ton of genuinely kind people heer who've been through similar stuff themselves. You're dealing with a lot right now, but these folks really support you and understand. They send such heartfelt hugs-some of the kindest people around are pulling for you. Trust them, they truly care about you.

Again, ignore anything I accidentally say that sounds off or is unintentionally insulting-I don't mean it like that. Sometimes I end up saying the wrong thing when I'm just trying to be supportive. Sorry in advance for any of that-just know these folks really care about you

They definitely do think about social justice... Like, if a neighbor was in trouble or being abused, they'd care for sure. It's not out of pity though-more like they don't want anything bad to happen to people as much as humanly possible. Everyone here believes that everyone has the right to a decent life. We've all been through hard times, so we know what it feels like.

Your old place sucks, hope you're done with it now.

Sorry your sister's angry all the time. You should just leave again and show her she can do better too. Your toughness is inspiring.

Oh man, it sounds rough over there. But hey, at least you seem to have a clear head about what you want-which isn't easy these days. If you can swing it, find a spot wheere they'll value your perspective. Fingers crossed!
