Trying mirtazapine for sleep issues - honestly help?

Hey everyone, so I've been on 15mg of mirtazapine for my anxiiety and sleep issues, and honestly, I'm feeling super groggy and dizzy throughout the day. I take it around 6:30 PM, but even in the morning, I feel pretty sedated-can't even drive. Anyone know if this will stick around forever or if it's just temporary?

I wanted to say thanks for getting back to me. I started taking it at 9pm, but I was pretty groggy and kept dozing off during the day. Maybe I should think about increasing the dose because it's still making me really tired throughout the day. How long did it take for your body to get used to it?

I started out just lke you at 15mg and slowly worked my way up to 45mg over three months, with my doc keeping an eye on everything to make sure nothing bad popped up-i mean, it's good they were there to watch for anything weird happening

Fingers crossed it calms down soon-I hate that post-sleep fog. Thanks for reaching out, really appreciate it. Hope you're doing well too!
