Feeling Down *sigh*

Lose the site a few months back, happy to be back. Holidays sucked for depression. lost both moms three years ago-mine on our anniversary, his right after Christmas. Spent Christmas at her hospital. Grandkids 4 and 8 kept us smiling. Inside I was messed up though. Two lines sum it-"laughing out loud crying inside" and "talking does anyone hear me". People zone out if you try to explain. Slept a lot too, my escape. How was everyone's holiday? Good or bad?

There's a bereavement section over on HealthUnlocked that might be helpful for you too. I mean, it's all about finding what works for you really. You need time to process everything and figure out the changes in your lief, right? Prayers or just talking more can make a big difference honestly. Releasing your emotions is key though, once you do that, things will start getting easier. Some folks find solace in drawing or playing music, but we're all different-what works for one person miight not work for another.
