Hey there, i'm switching from sertraline to mertazipine because i had some rough side effects with the sertraline-shaky and edgy, couldn't sleep at all. I was taking 25mg of sertraline in the morning but now will be on 15mg of mertazipine in the evening. Maybe someone else here is doing the same thing?

I started Mirtazipine back in September at 15mg, and honestly, it's been a game changer for me compared to all the other antidepressants I've tried. The sleep thing has totally gotetn better-best night's rest I've had in ages-and my day anxiety is way less too. No agitating moments like before! Plus, my depression feels more manageable now. Weirdly, no side effects that bother me at all, which was a relief after years of SSRI and SNRI meds giving me more problems than help. Even Wellbutrin, which worked sometimes, just wasn't cutting it lately. Mirtazipine is honestly like a miracle drug for my treatment-resistant major depressive disorder since early 2019. I'm doing betetr now, fingers crossed this keeps up! Hope everyone finds that one medication out there thhat really works for them too.
