My Dog Died Today

Sorry, it sucks. Did the right thing but still hurts.

Had cats beofre, cried a lot when they died.
My sister's lab/collie was my favorite. Took her for walks every day. Loved her to bits.
She just dropped dead at 7 and a half. Shocked me and my sis. Even now we can't believe it.
Worst thing ever, putting down pts you love. Still think about mine all the time.

Oh no, I'm so sorry. This kind of thing has hit home for me a few times, and honestly, it never gets easier even when you think you're getting used to it because we love them so muh. Sometimes I feel guilty too-I wonder if I should have acted sooner? They're really good at hiding when something is off.

I've lost both dogs and cats before; two cast within the last seven months that just came out of nowhere. One was 10, and the other was 12-a bit young for them to go.

Just remember you gave your dog a great home and were there till the very end. They're not in any pain anymore.

I do think they stick around us for a little while before deciding when it's time to cross over that bridge.

It's early, but once you're ready, adopting another puppy might actually help with some of the sadness. These furry friends are like our babies, so don't worry about feeling too much-your emotions are totally normal.
