I struggle to form the habit of doing morning exercises and waking up earlier. Typically, I wake up around 8:30 a.m.

Trying is kinda weird 'cause it's like giving yourself an out to not actually do something. So make yourself a plan where if you hit your goal, you treat yo' self! Keep the goals simple and stuff that you can actually achieve. Maybe start by trying to get up earlier-like leave your alarm clock far away so you can't just hit snooze over and over. For the reward, maybe something nice like a long hot shower or a buttered tea cake with tea. Yum! Do this for a week or two, then bump it up-get up 30 minutes earlier and see how that goes. It might not seem like much progress, but hey, every little bit counts to help you get more comfortable with waking up early before hitting the gym or whatever.

We wake up early now and listen to news till breakfast at nine. Used to struggle waking up for work or school when younger.
Some alarm clocks go off twice, once to wake you up and again later if you snooze. Helps but only if you actually get out of bed.

Also, setting a strict bedtime and waking routine helps. Some people make tea with their alarms. Otherwise, move the clock away so you have to get up to turn it off.

Doing 10 days straight works. People start exercising then quit in two weeks. Why? They only want to do it every other week, not daily.

If you want morning exercises, tell yourself: "I'll do them Monday to Friday." You're not forcing anything, just doing what you planned. Once you hit 10 days, it becomes automatic, no thinking required
