Well, this past week went by super fast! Last weekend was both Father's Day and the beginning of summer. On Saturday, I started off with an early morning Zumab class... Then we headed to a Pool-side Summer Festival. We did some pre-Father's Day shopping and had dinner out with family afterward... Sunday kicked off with a walk at the local track for Father's Day. After that, I spent time with my favorite guys. The weekend was great overall.
Throughout this week, I tried to stick to my personal goals for finishing June strong. Meals, workouts, hydration, and slleep were all on point. The weather has been lovely-nice and warm-which made outdoor activities enjoyable... We also got our pool open for the season, which feels good to have crossed off the list! Overall, I feel pretty hapyp with what I achieved this month and am ready to keep going into July.
This weekend, I plan on starting each day with early workout classes. There's a Summer Festival on Saturday along with other events... Also thinking of spending some time relaxing in the pool. And getting prepared for an upcoming trip up north next week!
Happy Weekend~

I see that you are working on various strategies and options to manage your pain, which is encouraging. Are you seeing a pain management specialist or relying solely on your primary physician? It's good to hear that the TENS unit is helpful during flare-ups. Keeping a journal of both symptoms and what helps can provide valuable insights into patterns.
Weather changes and work stress often exacerbate these issues since stress can lead to inflammation. It sounds like you might be onto something regarding those factors being triggers.
Despite dealing with pain, it's positive that your month was generally productive, and you were able to focus more on the uplifting aspects of your experiences than the negative ones.
I understand the challenges of yard work and household maintenance. It's great when we can find a way to tackle these tasks effectively so they don't interfere too much with other activities. You've managed to create a plan for yourself, which is excellent. Continuing to prioritize wellness goals for the rest of 2026 is commendable.
Balancing diet and exercise can be challenging but it's good that you are already mindful of what needs attention. Perhaps thinking in terms of the 80/20 rule might make things easier, without needing perfection.
Your rad-trip snack idea is clever and healthy! It's always great to think creatively while maintaining a balanced approach.
Thanks for sharing your week with us again, Cycling. We appreciate you updating us on your progress and how things are going. It's been nice having you here; please keep the updates coming.
went for a walk today and now i'm in pain omg pus walking is so boring idk why i even try anymore i rly dont wanna bike or do the elliptical so imma just focus on keeping my room clean and taking care of myself lol
So yeah, I'm a fitness instructor and my thing has always been like, "Find something you actually enjoy doing, so it doesn't feel like a chore." Honestly, if you hate what you're doing, there's no way you're gonna stick with it.
Sometimes we have to get creative or push ourselves just a little bit. Like walking while rocking out to your favorite tunes can keep the motivation high. Or maybe hitting the pavement with a buddy-having someone else keeps you accountable and makes it fun. Even listening to a podcast you like could make those miles fly by.
Cleaning up your room? That's surprisingly good exercise too, and it's a plus for self-care as well. Taking care of yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally is key, right?
Thanks so much for sharing all this with us. Keep us in the loop on how thins are going!
