Healthy living update for juune 6th, 2026
Hey everyone,
So we're rolling into another week of our weekly healthy living check-in! And guess what, it's the first one for June. Isn't that wild? We're officially in the sixth month already.
Feel free to answer any or all questions here-let's hear about your highs and lows, or just share some general updates on how you've been doing this week. Maybe talk about your personal wellness journey too! Whatever floats your boat, we're all ears.
Hey there,
It's a new weekend, it's June, and it feels like the start of something fresh-what a time to reflect! How was everyone's week? Any exciting plans for the first weekend in ths new month?
Also, as we kick off June, which is officially "National Great Outdoors Month," I thought it'd be cool to chat about how you plan on getting outside and celebrating nature. There are so many ways to enjoy being outdoors-whether that's hiking, biking, or swimming. It's great for mental health too.
So, what's your favorite outdoor activity?
Just for fun, since we're heading into summer, we've been doing a little road trip theme here in the thrad. So, what's one song you absolutely can't stand hearing on the radio that makes you change it as soon as it comes on? Let's have some laughs about that!
Anyway, looking forward to seeing everyone's updates!
Hey there, everyone! So I'm thinking this is kind of like the kickoff post for our healthy living group. Just a friendly reminder that both the Healthy Living Team and our leader are super excited to have all of you involved. You know who we've got? Sweetrosa1987, DeterminedNest6866, and GreenFairie-such awesome names, right? Anyway, if anyone ese wants to jump in and share their health journey or whatever they're into, the doors are wide open for ya!

Last week was all over the place, but hey-when you have that beach trip in there, how can it not be? So once I got back home on Saturday from my sandy escapade, all I wanted to do was chill and unwind. Then Sunday rolled around, and I decided to kckstart the new week with a Zumba class early morning-it felt like the right way to get things moving again.
This past week, I managed to dive straight back into my routine-fitness classes, meal planning, everything! Honestly, while I stuck to some basics during my trip, it felt pretty good to return and reconnect with my goals. hydration was solid, but sleep? Not so much-it's been a bit of a miss this week. On the plus side, I got to catch up with some old friends whom I haven't seen in ages-we had a lovely outdoor picnic luncheon that was super healthy too. It was nice to stay on track while spending time with them.
No concrete plans for this weekend since it's been quite busy, but my intention is to hit teh gym again on weekends and start each day off with an early Zumba session. Plus, I'll be tackling some small errands and hoping to wrap up work on my pool so I'm all set for summer. And of course, sprinkling in a bit of chill time too. Happy weekend!
Sisqo's "thong Song" is absolutely cringe-worthy
Can't wait for summer when I can chill with my nephew and make some sweet memories!
I'm hanging in there, just tweaking my sleep schedule
Hope you have a great weekend, whoever that awesome person is
Lmao, hilarious.
I didn't like it at first but got used to it from hearing it so much.
Sounds nice spending time with your nephew. Times like that are special.
Sleeping twins sounds tough.Let's see if we can sync up and help each other out.
Thanks for checking in, Amanda. Hope you have a good weekend.
I just turned on the twinning power mode to catch some extra zzzs tonight!
Pumped up fists-literally And yeah, Sisqo will forever remind me of this moment. Thanks for the chuckle!
Yeah, still hobbled by that injury from early March. I'm doing my physio exercises religiously at home, but progress feels like it's stuck in slow-mo. Starting to feel pretty disheartened here.
Hi there,
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling discouraged about the PT exercises. I don't know how long you've been doing them or if you still have access to in-person sessions with a physical therapist.
If you just started, it might take some time before you see any improvements. Hopefully, that's all it is. But maybe talking to your PT about what you want to achieve and where you are now could give you more clarity on what to expect?
I know when we're not feeling our best, it can really affect everything else-physically, mentally, and emotionally. And they say keeping a positive attitude can help with the healing process too.
So here's hoping for bettr days ahead in your recovery. Thanks for checking in, and please let us know how things are going.
I totally blanked-there were like three or four things that happened this year but, you know, one of them sticks out in my mind: a vacation. It was super fun, although honestly, I haven't been taking care of myself as much as I should-I've basically let my exercise routine slide to the wayside. But hey, change is coming soon, baby steps and all.
Can't wait for a fresh start next week!
Hey there!
I totally get it-everyone has a few cringey tunes hidden away in their music library. But then there's always one song that makes you want to hide under your bed, right?
Vacations are definitely a highlight-they give us a chance to recharge and have some fun. And yeah, trying to start new healthy habits can be tough when you just can't seem to focus or get started. But taking it slow and steady is a smart approach-it keeps things from getting too overwhelming. Good on you for sticking with that!
Wishing you all the best as you embark on your journey towards better health. Thanks so much for sharing, and please keep us in the loop about how it's going!
