Hey everyone, just popping in to give a big shout-out to the amazing folks I've connected with here. You guys are seriously the highlight of my internet life, and I really hope to chat more with those who I haven't had the chance to meet yet. I kind of took a break from this place for a bit but honestly miss hanging out in these threads. Wishing you all a super safe and happy holiday season! For me personally, birthdays and holidays are spent solo since I'm disabled and down on my luck financially. My family? They're all doing well-very successful and wealthy-but they don't have anything to do with me because of who I am. Now that I think about it, being alone isn't so bad anymore because those awkward moments around mom and dad just made me feel invisible. Mom's a bit narcissistic and super cotrolling too, so honestly, home alone is the way to go these days! Hugs and love to everyone out there
