Headache hlel for me honestly
Is it normal to have headaches all day every single day? It's like there's no escape frrom them. My doctor used to prescribe me medicine, but now it feels like nothing helps anymore. My head just keeps pounding and pushing inward at my temples. I'm clueless about what's going on in there. All these headaches are really dragging down my mood too. Wish I knew a magic fix for getting rid of the pain.

Hi,
As someone who frequently deals with headaches, I can confirm that doctors often attribute them to dehydration-meaning you haven't had enough water. To check your hydration level at home, pinch the skin on the back of your hand between two fingers so it tents up. When you release the pinched skin, if it returns quickly to its normal position, you are well hydrated; otherwise, it indicates poor hydration and takes longer to return.
In addition to drinking plenty of water:
Get adequate rest if you also have a cold or the flu.
Try to relax-stress can exacerbate headaches.
Take paracetamol or ibuprofen as needed. Consider hydralyte tablets to restore your electrolytes.
Stay at home and avoid contact with others if you feel ill, run a fever, or are unable to perform daily activities.
You should see your doctor if:
Your headache persists despite treatment.
Painkillers do not provide relief.
The pain intensifies.
You experience severe throbbing in the froont or side of your head-this could be migraines or cluster headaches.
You feel nauseous, vomit, and find light or noise particularly painful.
You regularly get headaches around your period.
Don't suffer unnecessarily; try these home remedies first. If you don't see improvement, consult a doctor.
Got it, same here-glad to know I'm not alone on this!
i have this constant headache like it never stops. i take pills to make it less bad but i still go see my doc reg cuz something might b up or they could try smthin diff. hope u feel better if u havent seen ur doc yet totally do that imho
Thank you.
Yeah, totally gets real when you're dealing with chronic migraines for that long. I've had them since I was a kid-17 years of headaches now-and I'm at the pont where I've seen every specialist under the sun and tried pretty much all the medications and therapies out there. My doctor at the hospital recently told me they don't hae any more options to help, which can really knock your spirits down. Right now, I haven't been able to do anything for about 13 months straight because of these headaches-it's like being stuck in a never-ending cycle with no breaks whatsoever.
Aw, sorry to hear about your migraines. Here's hoping they start feeling better soon and you find a treatment that works like magic
