Support thread for mid-year goals.

Steps:
1. Specific: Define exactly what you want to achieve (who, what, where, when, why).
2. Measurable: Include criteria to track progress and know when the goal is met.
3. Achievable: Make sure it's realistic given your resources, skills, and constraints.
4. Relevant: Ensure it matters to your broader objectives or priorities.
5. Time-bound: Set a clear deadline.

Example:
Vague: "Get better at public speaking."
SMART: "Give three 10-minute presentations to my team over the next 3 months, get feedback after each, and reduce filler words by 50% by the third presentation."

Monthly check-ins to report accomplishments. No specific format required.

That sounds like a good plan.

I aim to find more moments for myself during the day. Given that I am a full-time caregiver, it depends on many different factors and is beyond my direct control. However, whenever I have free time, I would like to use it more effectively.

Hey there! Thanks for kicking off this thread-it's super helpful. I've gotta be honest, setting goals feels like jumping into the deep end but here we go!

1. HEALTH: This year, my goal is to nail every single doctor's appointment-I'm making srue no health isssue slips through the cracks.
I already started with some dental work and have a follow-up tomorrow.

2. FINANCES: Going forward, I'm determined to stick to my monthly budget. Any extra money at the end of each month will go into savings rather than getting the newest gadget or planning trips right away.
Like, I was looking at pohnes but decided to wait until fall or winter since those big expenses aren't necessary now.

3. LEARNING: Another goal is to complete at least two certifications that are relevant to my career.
I'm already in the IBM data analysis certification on Coursera and it's a good challenge-should take me a few months, but totally worth it.

4. SELF-CARE: Starting this week, I want to dedicate five hours every week just for myself-whether it's working on a hobby, hitting the gym, or just chillng out.
It's about making time for me and building that into my routine each month
