New listener joins forum
Hello,
I am new to this community, and today has been quite busy with sevearl conversations. While most did not go as anticipated, one person rated me a 10 out of 10, which made me feel like I succeeded in my role.
As someone pursuing psychology, I see the value in developing listening skills for my future career. For those who have more experience here, could you offer advice on how to improve as a listener?
Thank you and take care.

So hey there, if you're just starting out as one of the newer faces around here, reaching out to a mentor can be super helpful. You know how it goes-those folks who've been through it all already and really get what's going on in the community. They're like ur go-to guides when things seem confusing or overwhelming. And yeah, you joining Cups is awesome! Happy to have another voice around here, honestly, so enjoy getting settled in.
Thanks. Reaching out to a mentor soon
Oh, it really is such a delightful experience!
Hey! Welcome to 7 Cups. Glad to see you around here. If you ever feel like you're hitting walls, the listener support room is there for you. I've got some handy resources stuck at the bottom of this thread. Feel free to hit me up with any questions-you know where my PMs are open if you need them. Hope your time here is as nice and comfy as a cozy blanket.
