Reality feels overwhelming after a panic attack

Hey there! Just dipping my toes into the community waters for the first time. I've had this gnarly anxiety thing since I was a kid, but lately it's been kicking up a notch. Last month, I got hit wiht my very first full-on panic attack-it was wild. My arms and face went totally numb, and then bam! Everything around me seemed to shift into some bizarre dream world.

The TV was on, and for the life of me, I couldn't wrap my head around how it works-why would anyone sit and stare at a box all day? Then I started pondering humans in general, you know, why we do what we do. And then came the internet, which just blew my mind-how does this even exist?

Ever since that moment, these strange thoughts have been popping up like weeds. It's making me wonder if I'm stuck questioning everything instead of just moving forward with life. Plus, I get super worried that this is a sign something's really wrong in my head and I'm going to lose it completely.

Has anyone gone through anything similar after one of these panic attacks? If you have any advice on how to chill out about the big existential questions and just live normally again, pelase throw me some tips! Thanks a million

yass i had panic attacks too & felt super detached from reality sometimes. derealization + depersonalization r the things you should google, it's commn with anxiety. u also might feel out of place and like the world is closing in on u. jsut like how i worried about every little thing & my anxiety grew. def see a doctor or gp tho to make sure everything's cool. don't worry abt wasting their time, they r there 2 help u. exercising more, eating well, cutting back on caffeine and stuff can rlly help too. meditation is also a game changer. but seeing a doc first is important. u got this! deep breaths omg
