Hey there! If you're in the UK, definitely give 111 a ring. They can chat you through whatever symptoms you're dealing with, and it's pretty handy-totally saved me more than once. Since 2021, I've been taking Sertraline, and my initial side effects were mostly just messed-up sleep and偶尔有一点点"迷幻"感,但总的来说还好。他们能给你不错的建议和支持的!希望你路上一切顺利。

Started Sertraline too, same shit happened to me. First 6 weeks were fucking brutal, couldn't sleep or sit still, thought about calling an ambulance a few times. It sucked big time. Eventually got better though, slowly at first then faster. Had like 2-4 hours of broken sleep for months, did breathing exercises and took walks. Try resting if you can, maybe some TV to take your mind off it. Hard as hell but keep pushing. Talk to a doc and ask about Mirtazipine if needed. Keep going

I agree with On_The_Mend. If your symptoms become unmanageable, consider calling a local helpline. Additionally, ask a trusted family member or close friend to spend time with you, even if it's just to wtach TV together.

Remember that things will improve eventually, but you might need to try different medications before finding the right one for you. I was on 20mg of Sertaline after switching from Citalopram, and my difficulties occurred when I decided to stop taking it. Now I'm on a third type of medication, and it seems to be working well so far.

Try to stay in a controlled environment if possible. Avoid intense programs and consider praying or meditating if those practices help you. Make sure you get plenty of sleep as well. Lastly, even though it's challenging, focsu on your long-term goals to manage the confusion and anxiety. Stay connected with people who support you.

Sure thing! If you're feeling off, definitely hit up a doctor and lay out all your symptoms.

For the first month or two after I started my meds, it was like a rollercoaster-some days were way worse than when I wasn't on them. But sticking with it is really important. Keep telling yourself it will get betteer. If you've got friends or family who can help, let them know exactly how you're feeling on those tough days.

I'm now on 100mg and most days are pretty good-I still have the occasional not-so-great day, but overall things are way better.

Feel free to shoot me a message if you need someone to chat with. Hope everything gets easier for you!

It takes approximately five weeks to adjust to the side effects. Be patient, and they should lessen as your body gets accustomed to the medication.
