A lost sense of direction

Hey there, folks! So, my name is Emer and I'm here as a solo single momma to this adorable little 1.5 year old boy of mine. His dad and me split up about 6 months ago, but he officially left the house just two weeks back. Anyway, right around six-and-a-half or seven weeks ago-we had sex one time, no feelings involved, just... you know-sex. And it turns out I got pregnant that day, which is pretty wild since we hadn't been intimate in over a year.

Now here's where things get interesting: about a month back, I started chatting with this incredible man who has kids too. He's ambitious, works hard, takes care of his priorities, keeps healthy habits, and just comes off as really solid-he's that good kind of guy you want to build something with. But let me tell you, the financial situation is rough: I'm deep in debt, barely scraping by for rent, daycare expenses, and everything else my son and I need day-to-day. His father? Well, he's basically absent and hasn't contributed a dime towards child support ever.

Just recently-I was about four weeks along-this whole thing hit me really hard. I'vve been torn between different options since then but never seriously thought about termination until now, which is a bit new for me considering where I came from. But it turns out, some medication became part of the mix and I had to make this tough decision.

Now,don't get me wrong, tellig the guy I'm seeing was kinda scary. He said if we go ahead with that choice, it could mess up what's building between us. And he pointed out that it might show a bit of weakness or immaturity on my part-stuff I need to figure out before moving forward.

So there are plenty of reasons why terminating the pregnancy would be best for me health-wise, emotionally, and financially too. But at the same time, if I do end up making this decision, carrying that burden is just... painful. It feels like it'll stick with me forever, you know?

Anyway, I could really use some outside thoughts and emotional support here. Any empathetic advice would be a huge help!
