So yeah, it's kind of a long story but basically in 2016 I found out I had borderline personality disorder. This was right around the time that my boyfriend's teenage son took his own life-he was only like 17 at the time and it just shook everything up for me. Anway, to make things even more complicated, turns out later on down the road they also diagnosed me with post traumatic stress disorder too.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. There is a bereavement and care section on HealthUnlocked that may be helpful. We are here if you need someone to talk to. Take care, and please know that there are people who support you. Hugs, friend.

i was thinking, maybe we shouldn't let our diagnoses define us completely. sometimes it feels like the medical system labels us and holds us back. i guess if we weren't shamed by our labels, who would we be? really, that's kind of where it leads. i think focusing on our passions-like Perdue's interests-could help us discover ourselves more truly. finding support and seeing the beautiful person inside can make a big difference. you know, when we see ourselves as broken, that's how we'll stay. but if we lok at ourselves as beautiful, then that's who we might become.
