Intensive outptient group therapy sessions
So, anyone feeling like sharing if their experience was good or bad? I start on Friday myself, which is kind of nerve-wracking because this is all new territory for me. It's a three-hour session, thrice a week, with up to 18 people in the group, and yeah, that's pretty intimidating. I've never been through anything like this before, so I'm definitely feeling skeptical and a bit scared. But you know, I really hope to get something positive out of it-maybe evne learn some new stuff or make friends!

I'm also on the waitlist for that program. Could you keep me posted with your thoughts? It seems like something I could manage alongside my work, but I really need more than an hour a week. I'm finding it tough right now and don't want to settle for less...
Sending positive vibes your way!
So, just finished the first group session, you know? It was a pretty intense experience-I was honestly super anxious and scared at first, thinking there's no way this is going to work out for me. But once I got through it, wow, toatlly different story. I felt a bit exposed speaking up, but hey, it was just one time, so whatever.
Anyway, there was a lot of info thrown around in there, and now I'm kinda processing everything while trying not to get overwhelmed. Took some notes, though, which helps a little, you know? Am I completely fixed? No way! But am I donw for going again on Monday? Absolutely, no question about it.
This week's been super hectic for me-I starrted taking new meds, met this new therapist, joined teh group, and even had to take some time off work. It wasn't eays because my job is kind of my safe little comfort zone, if you know what I mean. But hnestly, there's a tiny spark of hope now-unlike last Friday when I felt like I needed help at the hospital, ready to just give up. So yeah, progress is happening, even if it feels small and slow.
