Sis Keeps Putting Me Down Honestly
Every time I bring up something new and exciting, like wanting to be a tour guide for my school campus or aiming for that specific job in my major-she instantly shoots it down. She's like, "Oh no, you're not cut out for that." It's frustrating because she does the same thing to our brother too. At first, her comments really got under my skin honestly, but now I try not to let them bother me as much. Still though, I'm curious why she feels compelled to bring everyone down like this-does it have anything to do with her own stuff?

It sounds like this person has some serious trust issues, maybe even a dsh of jealousy and insecurity mixed in. Toxic doesn't begin to describe it.
Remember, you can't control how others see the world or handle their feelings. All you can do is focus on your own thoughts and emotions.
