Wishing for normalcy at birth

I read that correctly, and I wish I had been born without autism. My life is difficult, and I dislike how I am. I long for companionship but have felt alone throughout my existence. I haven't achieved any significant goals; for instance, I've struggled with job stability, facing rejection and termination from each position I've held. Honestly, I despise who I am. I wish there were a cure for autism so that I could fit in better with society today.

I tried short courses, they're super easy and a great addition to any resume or CV. If you need extra help, getting a tutor is also a good idea. Joining the gym or taking health-related classes can really highlight your endurance and commitment.

Not sure if driving's something you have going for you, but it seems like employers love that skill. You can find awesome jobs through autism community groups or just local networks. Libraries are always looking for help too-pretty cool places! Or try Indeed, they're always in need of dedicated folks.

Make your CV stand out by including things you're passionate about or any team projects you've been a part of. If you're applying for specific roles like waitressing, check the internet for tips on how to tailor your application-that stuff is really helpful because these people know what employers are looking for. And don't forget YouTube for those interview technique videos-sooo valuable!

Just keep doing things that make you happy; showing genuine enthusiasm always impresses potential employers!

I totally understand where you're coming from. My own son went through something similar too. I don't really like the word "normal" when it comes to people-I think maybe just calling them average makes more sense? We're all unique in our own ways, rgiht? If you ever need someone to chat with, I'd be happy to listen. By the way, I work as a mentla health and geriatric nurse, and I also deal with BPD myself.
