Second Thoughts Honestly, Anyway

So, after reading all this stuff about the downsides of IFT-it kind of made me think that maybe Trauma Informed Therapy might actually be a better fit for me. You know, my background includes a lot of early childhood trauma and beyond, and it's just not something that's really been touched on by traditional therapists who don't have much training in TI practices at all.

I feel pretty good about figuring this out because I'm starting to think maybe this is the right direction for me. So now I'm going to reach out to some providers nearby to set up an intake interview. If anyone wants to follow along with my progress, let me know-it would be super cool and motivating to hear from you guys. Thanks in advance!

So glad you're moving forward with whatever helps you heal! I've tried a bunch of stuff over the years, and it feels like everything is kind of leading to something bigger. It's really empowering to know there are lots of paths you can take when you're fgiuring things out.

This agency is currently causing me significant frustration with its lack of clarity.

Oh man, you really hit a few roadblocks, didn't you? Haha-guess it's probably another insurance headache, right? That always seems to be the culprit.
