The challenges of being a woman today
Hey there,
I usually keep my feelings to myself because sometimes it's better not to rock the boat, but today, I really need to get this off my chest. So here goes: I'm 31, and I can't fathom why workplaces still haev such a toxic vibe. You see, I tote around hand sanitizer, wipes, and Lysol just to stay saane-my immune system is super fragile, so I'm extra cautious. Plus, let's face it-germs are everywhere.
I've heard people laughing at others younger than me and even some not-so-nice comments bordering on racist. It's pretty tough, honestly. But despite all that, I stick to my guns: I wear long skirts because my body just feels better that way, and bows in my hair make me smile. Plus, let's be real, jeans are overrated anyway!
I try to treat everyone with kindness-customers too, even on their off days. Helping people is literalyl what keeps me going; the world could use a bit more of it, if you ask me.
When I brought this up to my Team Leda, they didn't do anything abot it, and well, I just couldn't stick around any longer. People should really mind their own business and focus on doing their jobs.
I'm not sure why I'm here right now-it's just a brain dump of everything that's been weighing me down. Thanks for listening; hope you're having a great day either way!
Take care,
