Billing & Refund Policy

1. What you are buying (tokens)

SovaTalk uses tokens — prepaid digital credits — as the in-platform currency. One token is worth US $0.01 (100 tokens = $1). Tokens are used to pay for services on the platform such as private one-on-one video sessions, private messages, and optional tips to experts.

Tokens are a digital good for use within SovaTalk only. They are non-transferable, have no value outside the platform, and are not a bank deposit, stored-value card, or investment. Current prices are shown on the Wallet page before any purchase.

2. One-time purchases — no subscriptions

Every token purchase is a single, one-time transaction. SovaTalk does not offer subscriptions, memberships, or auto-renewing plans, and we do not store your card to bill you again automatically. You are only ever charged at the moment you actively choose to buy a token package — nothing recurs.

Because there is no recurring plan, there is nothing to “cancel” to stop future charges. Simply stop purchasing at any time.

3. How charges appear on your statement

Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. A purchase will appear on your card or bank statement under a billing descriptor that identifies SovaTalk (for example, SOVATALK.COM or your processor’s descriptor shown at checkout). If you don’t recognize a charge, please contact us before disputing it — see section 6.

4. Refunds

  • Unused tokens: If you have an unused token balance, you may request a refund within 14 days of the purchase. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method for the unused portion.
  • Used tokens: Tokens that have already been spent — on a session, private message, tip, or other service — are non-refundable, because the digital service was delivered and consumed at that time.
  • Something went wrong: If a session failed for technical reasons on our side, or you were charged in error, contact us and we will make it right — typically by re-crediting the affected tokens or issuing a refund.

To request a refund, email support@sovatalk.com from the email on your account, with the approximate date and amount. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

5. Cancellation & closing your account

You can stop using SovaTalk at any time — there is no recurring charge to cancel. To close your account or request deletion of your data, email support@sovatalk.com. Any refundable unused balance is handled under section 4.

6. Billing questions & disputes

If you have any question about a charge, or believe something is wrong, please contact us first at support@sovatalk.com or by phone at +1 (408) 594-9689. We resolve billing issues quickly and would much rather fix it directly than have you file a card dispute. Reaching out to us first is the fastest way to get a refund or correction.

7. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to purchase tokens or use SovaTalk. SovaTalk is a non-adult, emotional-support and live-companionship service and does not provide adult or sexually explicit content. See our Terms of Use and Safety pages for more.
