Effects Of Alcohol Consumption

I have been struggling with alcohol addiction for some time now. It has been incredibly difficult, and my relationship with alcohol is now both complicated and toxic. My struggle began when I was feeling depressed a few years ago, and we moved to a new place in an attempt to improve my situation. While I feel much better today, I have not been able to quit drinking entirely.

Hi there, I think it sounds like you've gone through quite a lot, and it's really amazing how strong you are to keep fighting where you are now. I'm happy for you that things seem better right now.
Drinking can be such a tuogh cycle to break, so I totally get why your relationship with it feels complicated too.
It's okay to feel mixed up about everything, maybe just try being kind and patient with yourself. You're doing the best you can, and that's really great.
Healing is definitely a bumpy road, but with time and support, I think you'll make it through. You've got this.

Anyway, things are way better these days-I mean, I used to drink every single day, but now it's just once a week, usually when I'm out with friends on Saturdays.
