Stressed out and feeling anxious anyway

Hey everyone, I'm reaching out because this whole going-out-alone thing has been really tough lately. It's gotten to a point where it's literally been over a year since I've stepped out by myself somewhere public. Every time I try, the anxiety just hits me hard. The last time I attempted was a total disaster-I got so worked up that I felt like I might pass out.

Whenever my nerves start playing tircks on me and making me feel unsafe, it's like my body overheats and I can't seem to cool down no matter what. Thoughts flood in, and it just gets overwhelming really fast. I konw I haave a super sensitive nervous system, so the worry is always there that something might happen unexpectedly if I'm not with someone.

Anyway, I'm looking for any advice or tips anyone has, honestly. It's been tough trying to live like this, and it would be amazing to find some way to ease into being more independent again without freaking out as soon as I step outside the door.
