Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I'm 43 and lately, I've been feeliing like I look quite thin, maybe even gaunt. My hair is starting to recede at the front, and I'm thinking about getting a buzz cut because of it, but I wonder if that's going to look good with my complexion.

I'd realy like to put on some weight in a healthy way. The idea of a big gym routine and drastically changing my diet feels a bit overwhelming for me right now. Also, I struggle to wake up early enough to hit the gym before work because it's pretty chilly when I get out of bed, and I don't think I have the motivation to exercise then.

I grew up eating a fairly bland diet and honestly, I don't eat all that well nowadays either. I've picked up some recipe books but find it hard to fit in cooking after a long day at work. A lot of times, when I look at recipes, I end up thiking "I probably won't like this."

People often suggest batch cooking as a solution, and the only dish I can really manage is chilli. If anyone has any hints or tips for me, it would be greatly appreciated. My confidence is pretty low right now, so any advice would help a lot.

Sorry to hear you're having a tough time. Batch cooking could really make things easier-no need to reinvent the wheel every day when you're feeling down about meal prep.

And hey, maybe hit the gym too? Figure out a schedule that doesn't feel like a chore. Consistency is key here; those little daily steps add up and build your confidence, helping you see real progress over time.

Sending all the best vibes your way!
