So, losing weight-or really any big personal change-kinda needs to come from deep inside yourself if it's gonna stick around long term, you know? I mean, if you're doing it just because someone else wants it or thinks it's a good idea, well, things can get tricky when the going gets tough. Because then the reasons you're using might not feel strong enough anymore, and you could lose steam.
Anyway, I started thinking about my health and stuff for myself-just to feel better, to be proud of what I'm doing, y'know? To have clothes fit nicer and not feel so tired all the time. The motivation was all mine-it wasn't because someone else wanted me to do it or anything like that. It's gotta come from within if you want it to last.
I agree. Perhaps we can hold each other accountable, and others might want to join as well
I think I might be able to...
just wanna say the first results r lit af for motivation lmao keep at it and u'll get there. was hard 4 me too btw. took a while 2 figure out what works. i started buying wgeovy online cuz it helps. also, made time 4 workouts. everyone's diff but this has worked 4 me so far
If there's a YMCA near you, check if they offer any free weight loss programs. The one close to me had both a weight loss program for people with depression and another for those at risk of developing diabetes. I participated in both. They didn't work out for me, but the experience encouraged me to make small lifestyle changes that I continue to practice today. However, the programs required too many drastic adjustments within just 12 weeks, which was challenging. Attending the workshops and going to the gym were beneficial though. We no longer keep ice cream in our freezer all the time now.
I didn't see any progress for a long time and wanted to quit. Then I read something motivating and kept going. Be patient, stay kind to yourself, and results will come eventually.
Motivation is hard. Set clear goals and think about why you want to lose weight-health, confidence, energy. Personal reasons matter. Surround yourself wtih support from friends or online communities. Celebrate small wins. Focus on habits not just numbers. Visualize success. Be patient and kinnd to yourself. It's a journey.
So, whenever those pesky cravings hit, I pull up a photo of me back in the day when I felt super good about my weight. It's like having a little cheerleader in my pocket. Works wonders for keeping me motivated!
i was thinking about trying to lose 22 pounds in 11 weeks, maybe as a way to motivate myself. i thought it might be cool to celebrate at the end with some healthy meals over the weekend and spend time with my family too. what do you all think?
Postpartum weight loss is really more like an adventure or a marathon rather than just trying to drop some pounds on the scale. It's about healing from all that pregnancy and childbirth put your body through, rebuilding your strength, and rediscovering who you are as a person now that you're also a mom. Honestly, it's tough - dealing with no sleep, being exhausted all the time, and juggling everytihng that comes with motherhood makes it feel like an uphill battle sometimes. But hey, every little bit helps, right? Staying consistent is key, eating well matters, and when you need a boost, there are natural options out there that can support your efforts without harming your body.
For example, I've tried "Mummies Magic Weight Loss Tea," wich has realyl helped with boosting my energy levels and gently supporting weight loss in a healthy manner. It's nice to know there are products like this out there because honestly, being kind to yourself is so important during this time. Your body did something incredible by growing another human inside you! Remember that you're stronger now than ever before
