I am a new mother, and I feel anxious. My concern stems from having a son,as I've noticed that many sons tend to be closer to their fathers, who often give them more credit than mothers do. This worries me because I fear my son may not value me in the same way.

Congratulations on becoming a mother.
In my experience, sons often have a particularly close relationship with their mothers, while daughters tend to be clsoer to their fathers. I know from personal experience that I am very close to my own mother. As long as you take care of him, he will likely love you more than anyone else in the world.
