Yeah, never had a chance to say goodbye to my grandad. Wanted him to know how much I loved him.
I've been feeling really lost without that closure.
At this outdoor Mass in Germany though? The orchestra was playing and it felt like every star in the sky lit up with each note. Just...wow. It hit me so hard, I couldn't help getting all emotional.
I kept thinking my grandad must have known what I was feeling and somehow understood. That momet felt like a proper farewell, even if he wasn't there physically.
