Switching jobs journey

So, I recently stumbled upon Massage Therapy as something that could be my jam, and I'm diving headfirst into researcing it like a total info nerd. My current gig is driving me bonkers-seriously, I've been eyeing other jobs with a flexible schedule so I can hit the books for Medical Massage Therapy without stressing.

The cool part is, I just threw in an application at this massage clinic to work the front desk. They're totally on board with being flexible as long as I'm still rocking school stuff. Starting out part-time sounds great since it's not like I'm ready to jump into a full-blown role yet.

But here's where my patience is melting like ice ceam in summer: waiting for those employers to actually call me back feels interminable! And you know what? I can't bail on my job right now because teh bills are real. Still, every day at this place sends me into panic mode. Can anyone offer any sage advice on how to just grit my teeth and hang in there until I land a better deal?
